Period In Private.*

So my family and I went to Disney World and I did this whole post about it and blogger ate it (bad Blogger!) and now it's Spring Break and all I've done is sit in the sun with my girls and run through our Pablo sprinkler and eat popsicles and I have no time to write a new post, let alone read blogs, but I do have time to hang out on Twitter intermittently (bloggy pals--get on Twitter!) and this is quite possibly the longest run-on sentence I've ever written, and I wish you could see the perfectly pink shade I've just painted my finger nails.

Also...

Have you seen this?

BRAVO, Kotex!

*Thanks to Heather, for coining this phrase. It's one of many that I've stolen from her. Don't we all just wanna period in private? In our comfy, cozy beds with a few good books, Seasons 1 and 2 of Gossip Girl, a few Snickers, and several Caramel Macchiatos from Starbucks. YES.

Not that Aunt Flo is visiting me or anything. In fact, she's not. But I'll be stocking up on my Kotex supplies, at any rate. I'll switch from the cheerleading brand. (Hi, Tony!)

I saw that commercial tonight while I was catching up on Vampire Diaries. I had four, count em, FOUR stacked up in the dvr. It was good, good times.

I don't think I've ever used Kotex before, I'm a Tampax devotee, but I just might be giving them a try now. I love that they have a sense of humor about periods. Thank goodness somebody in the feminine product advertising racket does. I love the blue water: "THAT'S what it's supposed to look like"!

LOL! That is awesome.
Check out this one airing here in Australia at the moment. EVERYONE is going nuts about it. There's even pages on Facebook where you can "Become a Fan" of it. Srsly.

It's about time some one did that commercial. For the love of all that is HOLY. That is SO what I think every time I see one!

Kudos to Kotex!

And I just loved your run-on sentence it was so great that I just couldn't stand it anymore and thought, wow, this is the bestest run-on sentences ever how could I possibly ever compete with that?

See, even THAT doesn't hold a candle to yours. I bow to you and your run-on. :D

Oh my. I'm so happy about this post and your comments that I'm just not sure what to do with myself(I guess twirling in slow motion is out...).
Thank you for getting what we're trying to say, and thank you for supporting our mission.

Please keep in touch with me and let me know what you think about the products, the campaign, anything!

Thanks again!

You even got a comment from the Kotex people...you seriously rock.

I'm so sad that blogger ate your Disney post; wtf? I wanted to see pics!

Have fun hanging with the girls. I've been doing the same with my kiddos; with this awesome weather, it seems sinful to be in the house on the computer.

I have always wondered why the liquid was BLUE? Like that isn't the way to freak out a young girl. Sheesh. If it actually was blue, we'd be in big trouble!

Love the commercial.

Never saw that hysterical commercial before but I can relate because all I ever want to do on my period days is dance and swirl.

Disney in FL? So close to me :(

P.S. I hope you don't know anyone close to you in the mines? Awful. Prayers to VA.
