Because I Have Your Best Interests At Heart.

Last weekend I read this book:

I finished it in one evening...literally could not put it down. As soon as I read the final page, I ran to Miss Pretty Pink and composed a message to some of my favorite gals-who-read. It went like this: "Go read The Hunger Games. Now. Thank me later."

I then spent the better part of a day mentally casting the movie version of this book. Because it has to be made into a movie. I need it to be made into a feature film, I just don't need it to be screwed up.  (Twilight, can you hear me?  Ew.)

This is my Monday recommendation for y'all...instead of a musical pick, I'm highlighting this particular novel. You need to read it. Trust me. Again I say: Go read The Hunger Games. Now. I'm talking Harry Potter-level awesomeness here, y'all.

Jeez, Michelle left you three messages already? What am I gonna do with that girl? Barnes and Noble were out of this book. Did you hear me? Sold out. So I am going to Target today.

Hope you're all better. Didya know I'm the FB on SITS today? I almost peed my pants when I got the email from Heather. I'm so excited, and they said the nicest things about me. Awww, they're so sweet.

I'll have to check this out. I'm almost done reading Nineteen Minutes (which, btw, is a great read too), so maybe I can get to this one next!

I think I am highly offended that you did not send me that email. Am I not a friend who reads? Come on, that's my email: sissyREADS! You have just been demoted. Maybe you can make it up to me. Maybe. LOL.

I have three children. And a messy house that is ignored. And loads of laundry. And phone calls to make. And cows to chase out of the yard. And all this blogging to do. And, don't forget that I spend alot of time at the cancer center with Sweetie. I am running out of free time!! My list of your recommended reads is growing long and going untouched!! Sigh. I am starting to advocate cloning.

You don't have to ask me twice. I am going to the bookstore today to get it. I will NOT be the last on the bandwagon like I was with Twilight. Hah!!! I did start Lovely Bones about a 14 yo who gets murdered and it's from her perspective from Heaven as they try to catch her killer etc. But I will put it down for you girl!

I JUST heard about this book last week and have it added to my "to read" list. I love me a good book. I know how much you love Twilight and Lost and those are two of my all time favorites, so this book has GOT to be good too. Thanks for sharing.

At lunch, I ended up reading the first chapter I printed out from online and it did leave the big hook. I have to go buy it. I am not usually into the whole survivor type thing but I also wasn't into the whole vampire thing and see what happened there. So, I'm going with it.

Thanks for stopping by through the BATW terminal. I actually had to edit my post after my comment because there are two ways to spell toque...the other commonly accepted spelling is tUque.
(Like you really cared but hey...I'm kind of weird)
