Victory.

I don't know what she's going through...

...but I do know how she's handling all of it. Because I know the One who holds her heart.

I can't imagine the millions of tears she's shed...tears that will continue to fall for a while...
...but I can imagine the One whose arms are wrapped tightly around her, even now.

Over a year ago I didn't even know her...
...but she soon became a bloggy pal-turned real life friend. And I, along with many others, have been on this journey with her ever since. The greatest joy I've found via blogging has been the friends I've made because of it. I'm blessed.
Kori & Me, November 2008
I love you, my dear!

On Wednesday, August 26, 2009, Richard McCulley won his battle over cancer and cystic fibrosis. With tears in my eyes and a very heavy heart, I praise our God and cry "Hallelujah!"

Please pray for Kori, Jacob, and Calob.
Thank You, Lord, for Richard...and his ultimate healing.
And with your final heartbeat
Kiss the world goodbye
Then go in peace, and laugh on Glory's side...
And fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus and live!

I rejoice through tears. I think I found Kori through your blog. It's amazing how connected we can become to each other in this odd world. But I'm oh so thankful. If you talk to Kori please send my love and prayers.

Oh my goodness. I didn't even read Kori regularly but because of the same wonderful circle we both seem to be in I have known of her story. And I did her Santa exchange last year.

At first, I teared up out of joy because you said he WON but then I saw what you meant. I am SO sorry but you're right, he still did WIN. I am still sorry though. Prayers and hugs. And lots of them. Gives me a lot to feel blessed about today. Oh my heart.......

Leigh Anne - please pass on to Kori how much I, along with everyone else, am thinking of her. I know her blog is private.

You're a wonderful friend!

Thank God for the way He has used our blogs to bless so many of our lives.

Kori is surrounded right now by so many of us in blogland. I know that despite the awful pain of her loss, having friends near you helps so much.

Wonderful post, Lula.

I am so humbled in the glory of the Lord. How do people live life without knowing Him? How do you survive death without knowing that there is everlasting life? Richard is dancing with Jesus in Heaven and we can all rejoice in that. He's in pain no more.

Sending love Kori's way too. I've read her story from so many different perspectives, and they all come down to the fact that she is wonderful and will certainly blessed during this time. Love from me as well.

One of the most beautiful tributes I've ever read. I didn't know you and Kori were friends in real life, too.

How could I have forgotten to write that my thoughts and prayers are with their family?

Thank you for this eloquent post. I've been wanting to post about Richard's passing on my blog and just have not found the words I want to share. You did it beautifully! And yes, I am so thankful that we can rejoice through our tears. That this world and our life here is NOT the end of the story.

Hugs!
