The Twenty-First of November.

15.
15 Months.
15 Long Months.

The wait is over.

I will say no more. Because I might start crying. Yeah...

Go see the movie.
Happy weekend, y'all!

*Edited on November 22 to add:
Saw the movie. All I'm gonna say is, "Eh." Still...go see it, but only if you've read the book. If you haven't...sigh...it's a train wreck. (Rob, I still love you, honey--you did a good job.) Come back on Monday to read about my I'm going to California to see the movie/I'm not going to California to see the movie due to being sick/I was drug to California, still partially sick, to see the movie and ended up having a BLAST while coughing the entire time story. There are other bloggers involved in this tale. I have the pictures to prove it.

If I had to wait 15 long months you can bet your badonkadonk I would've Jason Bourne'd my way on set, offering to pour coffee or donate blood or fluff Mr. Pattinson's hair. Anything. I would've done anything.

Because these last three weeks of waiting? Torture.

I can't wait to collaborate and hear each other's opinions. Once we've wiped the drool off of our chins...

Love you!

Phew! I was a little worried Jesus might come back before the movie came out and you'd have issues.

I have just started New Moon, and I have to say I like it better than Twilight, already.

I am going to the movie tonight, and dragging Mr. Right along with me.

Even though, the local news has been exploiting the fact that audiences are 99.9999% girls and the guys who are there are either gay, or stalking girls.

Yes, he's going anyway :)

Maddness of Me said...

... oh and, this is the BEST picture I have seen yet! Leave it to you to find this one, you are awesome.

Oh Lula, I've been thinking about you and praying for you on this day.

Hopeing you could hold out.

Now, let me go on record as saying I have never read the book. But Meridith druuuugggg me to the movie just the same. And I LOVED IT!!! Am now dying to read the book. Must. Have to. Want to.

So there's my opinion.

I have more where that came from...just in case you're interested.

It's all the hype here in Utah!! I'm giong next week with Adiel...can't wait.

Becky said...

I just got back from it and I LOVED it. I like the book better, because you can delve in deeper to everything, but the movie ROCKED too!

Got something for you on my blog!

Heather said...

Look at Becky, gettin' all bloggy with it right after we got back from our night out with Edward.

I am going to take Isabel to see it next week. I was afraid the scary scenes might be too much for her, but I don't think it will. All my kids are lovin' on Twilight now. It's crackin' me up.

I can't wait to talk more about it with you. I think you'll find more and more things to like once we talk. It'll be okay. And if it's not, I'll still love you. I was kidding about breaking up.

Kind of.

I haven't seen it yet. I'm so jealous you got to go see it with everyone in LA. SO JEALOUS.

Hope you're feeling better.

HEY!!!! So funny I emailed you before seeing your update on this post, then read TMM and Tiff's posts. I guess I didn't have very high hopes so I was not very disappointed. I laughed when I should not have but I also cried a few times. It could've been so much better but I am choosing to appreciate it for what it was. No version of a movie could have stood up to the amazing book and our imaginations that go along with it. But hey, at least you are enjoying an amazing time I am sure out there. I am really happy for the time you girls are getting to spend together. THose are memories right there!!!

Casey said...

Hey Leann- really enjoyed meeting you yesturday. Great things bring together all sorts of people. Enjoy your weekend in CA!

Went and saw it again tonight. It was way better the second time. Try it again, well I know you have to when you get home. Maybe you will like it better the second time.

And I know you know, but I'm Saucy. Yeah.

I checked my 13 year old out of school-really young to have a 13 year old too!:) we went to lunch and then to see the movie-
I have read all the books and he has read The Host- He loved The Host!
Anyway, we both liked the movie-I am going to see again next week with Trasheka!

"Eh" pretty much sums it up.

Girl, I had SO much fun. Thanks for being a trooper and partying like a rock star. Temecula will never be the same.

Here is to carne asada nachos and wine. Lots of wine.

I can't decide if I am going to see it again. I think I need to re-read the book (for the 7th time) and get the movie out of my mind.

I thought the acting was a little over the top and Bella kind of looked confused a lot--but the cinematography and manipulation of color was gorgeous.

And I so thought about you pole dancing when I heard the Muse song :).

It was really that awful, Lula??

Sorry the movie was just "Uh." But, there is good news ...I am now so fascinated with the Twilight "hype" that I am going to read the series. Congrats! You've convinced me!

And, I promise, I will post those lovely "pics" as soon as I can get my scanner working. LOL

I agree with the "Eh" but yes, "Edward" was a hotty. Looking forward to seeing all the posts about your Twilight trip!

I saw the movie Saturday. I enjoyed it very much. Yes, there were parts left out of the movie that were in the book, but I expected that. The movie would have been 5 hours long if they had included the whole book! I can't wait to hear from you Lula!

Christina Lee said...

that is my favorite picture. I saw you on alabama redhead and ahd to come by becasue she mentioned you like vampires and so do I (At least one particular one)-I agree about the movie but he is still a dream to look at as were the books to read :)
