Valentimes.

cupid 2 Pictures, Images and Photos
Once again Valentime's Day is upon us. (Yes, it's called "Valentimes" by my children.) What do y'all have planned for your sweeties? I want to hear all about it. Keep it PG rated, please!

I have plans. Big plans. But I cannot reveal these plans until Monday. I can share that part of these plans include a viewing of one of my favorite Francois Truffaut films, Jules & Jim.

It's French, it's about a love triangle, it's brilliant, and it's must-see. Before anyone asks, no...Scott will not be watching Jules & Jim with me. He will be watching the Star Wars franchise, for the 3429th time. I love him, I do.

Have a great weekend, and also a very Happy Valentime's Day!
XOXO,
Lula

Bawentimes, that's what it's called here by a five year old that needs speech therapy.

Dave will be working that evening, and I'll be babysitting so that some friends may go out and enjoy the evening.
Dave and I took full advantage of the 1.5 hours of free babysitting that we have on Wednesday nights while our kids are at AWANA, and we went out to dinner then. We sat in the bar! It was great.

oh, and Ben will be turning 9 that day, so we shall have cake. probably for breakfast, since Dave will be gone later.
Now that my dear is celebrating!

have a great weekend.

It's ValentiMes at our house, too.
The kids will be gone for the weekend, so I gave them their little gifts early. Candy, jewelery, stuff animals.
For hubby I got him a nice plaque celebrating the Gators' National Championship, and some candy, and some massage oil......I better be careful before I veer out of PG-13 land! ;o) We're going to do simple, fun things that we enjoy this weekend, and just have fun being together.

I have some ideas and will have to wait to see if they come through to share, but I am making my husband a great book with things I love about him... and our printer isn't working... frustrating. oh well, I am sure he will appreciate it whenever... :)

I know it's only the 13th but my big plans for the weekend are going to see Kid! I am so excited! Yay.
Have the best weekend!
Happy Valentines Day!

Francophile that I am, I have somehow never seen Jules et Jim. My husband would NOT watch that with me either, not even if I were, ahem, pleasuring him the whole time. He'd much rather spend that time with Scott watching Star Wars. We don't really have any plans for V-day. I'll probably make a nice dinner and then we'll watch a movie or two. Oh yeah, it's all romance around here.

Yes, we have Valentimes here too. I have to go catch up on your posts now...

Are you serious about that Jules et Jim??? That's bizarre...even for you, Lula!

I have no plans yet....any ideas?

I'm going shopping with Sarah Beth this morning...which is a giant celebration because with 6 kids and 2 steps, we don't get "sister-time" very often!

i will be seeing "pink panther 2" while holding hands in the theater

what? that's not lame. plus you said to keep it PG. PP2 is rated PG...

would it make you feel better if i let D get to 2nd base? or is that approaching pg-13?

No definite plans here, but I will be with my sweetie and the kids. We just have to play it by ear.

Happy V-day!

Our Valentimes will consisit of me running the two kidlets around to different events while the hubster works a 16 hour shift. Romantic huh?

I have no idea. Possibly going to get some take out from somewhere maybe the Olive Garden an take it to the Hospital for my honey. But that so totally goes against the promise we made of no eating out. Cause you know it's pricey and we're saving for the Mouse House.

But I think the hubs will be ok with it. I mean it's Valentine's Day after all.

My 50 yr. old boyfriend STILL calls it Valentimes....can't quite get him to correct that. I'll celebrate it with him anyway....bubbles, brandy and chocolate bon bons. I hope that was G rated enough!

We've never really done much on Valentime's day. We don't make a big deal out of it. But I did express a desire for red meat ... as in having hubby BBQ a nice juicy steak ... don't be thinking I was going against the PG rule here. Seriously, do ever just crave steak? I think I may be anemic or something. How romantic is that? Anyhow, this year hubby and I did exchange gifts ... you'll have to check out my latest blog post.

Sending heart shaped hugs your way!

Happy Valentime's day, sweetie!

We have a basketball game to watch (Elijah), with me cheering obnoxiously from the sidelines...

Definitely dinner at home; no way would we fight the crowds.

Have fun with your Scotty. And planning a trip to Cincy :)

I am going to a very lovely Dinner at the Country Club, where there will be dancing to a live band--Glenn Miller style!

With Midget.

I tried to bring the hubband, but he's much too large for petite little flower me to drag kicking and screaming.

Happy Valentines to me.

Stinkin bastage...

He's lucky I love him anyway! " )

Have you seen Un Homme et Une Femme? and the sequel?

We've got lots of holidays, birthdays and an anniversary surrounding Valentine's so it gets lost in the fray. Have a great time doing it is whatever you're planning!
