Flashback Friday!

The Truthful message of one little cartoon continues to shine each holiday season. I appreciate the reminder, and I'm thankful network television still has the courage to air this every December, in its entirety.

"That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown." Indeed, Linus...indeed.

p.s. Thanks ever so much for all the birthday love yesterday...I dig y'all with every fiber of my newly aged 34th year self! I was pretty absent from the blogging world...'cause I was eating nachos for lunch...and supper...and at bedtime. Now I'm full and will be making the rounds all weekend. Y'all have a good one!

I heart Charlie Brown! I emailed you but it came from another email address...

Sounds like you had a good B-Day!

Aw .. I love Charlie.

One year, ABC was airing a Winnie the Pooh Christmas thing, and Charlie Brown... for some reason, the announcer thought it would be a good idea to get the point across in less than ten words as he announced:

Brown!
Pooh!

Ahh, yeah it still makes me giggle

Charlies cool. But that Snoopy. I loved him and Belle soooo much.
Glad you had a nice birthday.
As much as I love a good Peanuts cartoon, the part that lives on for me is, "Wah, wah, wah, wah, wah." Sometimes, truer words could never be spoken. :)

Amen to that!

Haven't seen that in a while. Thanks for the memories.

Have a good weekend.

OK, freaky again. I stayed home from work yesterday & didn't eat anything all day because I was holding out for some Scoops and the Monterey Jack Cheese Queso (in a jar from Publix-must try!). That was my lunch & that's all I ate until beer thirty, I mean dinner time. Yum. Sounds like you had a great day. Love this cartoon!!!!! Have a great weekend!

I never really got into Charlie Brown. I don't know why. I did watch some of it...but never the whole thing.

Nachos sound yummy.

Yup. Love this one. I just watched it online a few days ago. I'm surprised it's still on, but give them a few years...
