This afternoon I received an e-mail from Summit Entertainment. As in Summit Entertainment, the producers of the Twilight movie.
Basically the e-mail went like this:
Dear Leigh Anne,
Because you are such a true and devoted fan of the Twilight Saga, we here at Summit Entertainment wanted you to be among the first to know some very brilliant news. Happy early birthday, dear Leigh Anne: Twilight is being released three weeks early, on November 21, 2008, instead of December 12, as previously scheduled! We wanted to give you this information as soon as possible, in hopes that you will be able to join us for the film's red carpet premiere, including a special meeting with author, Stephenie Meyer, and the cast of the movie, all of whom are dying to meet you in person.
Thanks for being such a fan,
Summit Entertainment Group
p.s. Rob's cell number is 310-xxx-xxxx.

OK, OK...y'all have to remember that when I dream, I dream BIG!
Here's the actual e-mail:
That's right, y'all...under 100 days 'til the book is revealed on the big screen. Please commence with the squealing now. Especially after you see this:
Oh, and this:
Indeed, it does make me so happy!

I've never really been a squealer or a screamer ...I'm more a yeller...
YEEEAAAAHAAAAAHHH !!!!
:-)
I always say "Dream big, or don't dream at all." Mission accomplished. :-)
I'll squeal with you. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
I'm so excited :D
I'm halfway through the book right now and LOVING it! The good thing about coming in to a series late is that I don't have to wait to read the sequels. The bad news is that I know it ends. I'm getting excited to see the movie!!
Hooray! *shrinking into the background* (i've never heard of it till last week) :0/ i guess i need to read the book??
I am finally on the 4th book. I can't wait for the movie. Yeah!
My sister, Michelle sent me this email last night, and I wondered if you had heard. I am cracking up right now, and had to call Michelle right away to check out your blog! You are hilarious! Michelle's birthday is Nov 25th, so this is a perfect gift. When is your birthday?
I already have it written on the calendar! Girls night out with my vampire-lovin' posse!
OK, you had me goin' there for a minute! I'm enjoying getting into "Twilight" mode--you've made me a believer! And I agree with you about Ellen--plus, I LOVE to dance! :)
I wonder if they moved it up because the new Harry Potter movie has been moved from that November date all the way to next July...
Do you know what the movie will be rated? Katie wants to read the books now :-)
OH NO!!! That means I better really hurry and grab the book! I still need to jump on the Twilight Train!
I love your first rendition of the letter BTW. If you can't dream big - don't dream at all ;>

You totally fooled me. Totally. I thought you would be bringing Libby on the red carpet with you to hang out with Shiloh ;)And now that I am more than halfway through the book, that movie clip has taken on more meaning to me than the first time I watched it month's ago. I have to say, that I too am very excited to see it. I am a convert.
Can you say "Goosey Bumpeys"???? Meow!!!!!
P.S. Would it be too weird for me to be your date to the premiere???
I finished Twilight last night, and now I must get Eclipse today to find out what happens next! I am excited about the movie (although maybe not as excited as you!) but I have to say, I'm disappointed in their choice for Edward. The picture of him in my head is MUCH more attractive!
Oh my stars, I am so excited!!! You got me turned on to Twilight by-the-way. I read the 1st book 2 weekends ago, and the 2nd book last weekend. I'm off to get the 3rd one, and I'm sure I'll be done with it by tomorrow night. :) I just can't put them down.
I have to say though....the Edward in my head was a lot more dreamy than the actor. :) I'm psyched to see the movie though.
Oh my goodness, I can NOT wait. I am halfway thru the second book and I have GOT to hurry and finish these things before I burst. If only everyone would leave me ALONE to do so. I can't wait for the movie, but I am afraid I will probably be MORE in love with Edward....ahhh!
looks kinda scary, no?
I just found something and had to hop back over here to tell you. Isn't that funny? I don't know you, yet I'm so excited to tell you something...anyway...
You need to go to www.projectplaylist.com and search "Bella's Lullaby" It's so pretty!!! When the search comes up it says "Bella's Lullaby by Edward Cullen" sigh....go check it out!
I finished it!!! Now I am off to get the next one!
I stayed up all last night to finish that book. The first 50 pages were a struggle for me to get into, but once the car accident happened, I was hooked! At 3 am I turned off the light, and at 6 am I was back up to finish it. I haven't read like that in a LONG TIME.
I like the look of the actors, especially the girl playing Bella. And it looks cool the way they showed him running with her on his back! My only question is, how are they going to film the scene where's he's in the sun without it looking all cheesy--like Paris Hilton's blinged out cell phone or something? :)
You're right, Ohio is not that far away. Hmmm...I'm thinkin' about a spring break in the mountains of Virginia next year :) Whaddya think?
I know you are gonna get Drama Mama in on this little treat- Because I have been a loyal follower!
Also, I left a little something for you over at my blog :)
What GREATTTT news!! I am counting the days as I am totally hooked!!
Ever since I joined SITS I have been hearing about this "Twilight" series and had NO CLUE what it was. I frequent the bookstore as I am a WWII and Stephen King junkie, and I have never actually seen these books. That is until NOW. Now that I have HEARD about them I see them every time I hit a book store! They are ALL OVER THE PLACE! I am completely intrigued. I am not a fan of vampire stuff, but I think if I can read SK, I can read this series. ESPECIALLY if they are making a movie out of it that comes out so close to my DOB...11/29. So, you all have reeled me in. I think I will look on amazon.com for the whole series because it is cheaper. Thanks. Especially to you, Lula!
I've been watching that trailer almost daily. Seriously.
What a sexy grin when he says, "You really shouldn't have said that." OMG "To die for" sexy!
I really do need to read that book.
UGH! Thank goodness you told me I had the order of the books wrong, but now I am freaking out becasue I cannot find New Moon anywhere! I'm going to have to make the journey across town to go to Barnes & Noble!
I'm not sure if you got my e mail but in case you didn't I'll tell you I totally loved all of these books. I am almost to the end of the last one. I read all weekend and now I am sad because it is almost over. I got to read all four right in a row because I only just found out about them. I'm going to miss them. I'm not sure what people would have against them. I love how much they love each other. I have enjoyed every second of them.
You really had me going at first. Although you can't attend the premiere I am sure that the movie coming out early was enough. I am totally coming home to watch it that weekend. Check out my blog...I updated lst night.
woo-hoo! Fabulous news!
What a tease you are Mrs. Lulaville. I thought that e-mail was serious. Wouldn't that be so cool though. I watched the trailer and I can't wait to see the movie now. I am planning to finish the book first though. YEAH!!
It sure is fun being misled sometimes. Good wuh!!! You almost had me. (Oh, and that's big fat YES to an orange slice in the Blue Moon). You will appreciate my new profil pic tomorrow then. Featuring Blue Moon & Me!
Okay...now I will read the book...from the looks of it, I think I like!!
FREAKING OUT!! AHHHHHHHHH....
My heart actually did a little pitter pat.
I will forever owe you for introducing me to this story. (I'm a tad bit dramatic.) I finished the series this weekend and it was...well you know.
Ok, I am throughly excited, although a little bummed as my due date is exactly 2 days prior to that so the likely hood of me getting over to the movies is nil. But, and dont kill me, Edward is sooo not hot enough in that trailer - and neither is Bella. Sigh...
