La-La Land.

I'm sorry, Lula is unavailable at this time. She is busy reading that book. You all know the one of which I speak. She will be back on Monday, and loving her as I do, I'm positive she'll have a lot to say. I think she's only a few chapters into it, but so far I've heard squeals, several sighs, and even seen some tears in her eyes. She is ridiculous. But I love her. I'm happy for her. She's waited almost a year for this. I wouldn't dare spoil it by even so much as breathing in her general direction.

Thanks for stopping by. She'll see y'all in a couple of days.
Signed,
Scott, also known as Mr. Lula

Lula,

I know you won't email me back until you finish this book - I'm not even going to kid myself. I know where your true devotion lies. How sweet of Scott to give us bloggy friends a heads up. Thanks Scott. I just wanted to tell you that you were in a dream I had last night. I was about 9 months pregnant and you and I and a couple other bloggy friends met up and went for a walk on some trail in Greensboro (NC). Just for the record, my 9 mos. pregnant self smoked all you other slackers, but then I started having contractions, so we had to sit down. There was some kind of Christmas show going and we had to dress up like Mrs. Santa Claus while we watched it. That's it.

Anyone care to interpret this madness?

Lula, Lula, Lula.......
You go girl and I hope that you are not let down after all the anticipation you have had.
Thanks Scott for giving us the heads up.

Dear Mr. Lula,

Thanks so much for supporting Lula during this time of literary need.

Part of the Crackliture addiction involves the need to be fed in a timely manner.

As a fellow addict, I wish I could tell you that I was experiencing the same level of love. Alas, I am not.

My husband conveniently drove to our non summer home to check on things. My niece decided to try out for a play that shows only today and my sister in law is insisting on lunch.

Yes, I received my book after waiting in line. And, yes, I was willing and eager to stay awake and read. However the 50 children under my care at the camp overnight decided to thwart those plans.

Help me Mrs. Lula. Help.

How sweet of Mr. Lula to give us the scoop! Of course, anyone who's read your site once should know that we wouldn't see you until Monday. LOL! Enjoy reading!

That's fine as long as you're feeding her chips.

Scott,
Please tell Lula Hi after she has finished reading. Also will you kindly remind her that some of us are still on the first book. So, if she is going to do a huge review of the book. Will you ask her to give a disclaimer, claiming so?
Thanks.
Oh and give her a kiss when she comes up for air.
Mariah

Still reading? I hope you got some sleep. I haven't seen any faxed pages of the book yet so you must really be into IT and nothing else. Scott is a wise man to leave you alone while you "dwell" on Edward.

Lula - have fun wth your book...and be sure not to ignore your man. He may still need some "Happy Time" even though you have a new book.

I too am immersed in the book. How am I blogging? Well, I am taking breaks here and there to maintain my composure.

We are dying to know what you think- I hope you weren't as disappointed as my girls were/are. Enough so I am in no great hurry to read it myself.
We didn't give out spoilers but there is a mini-review and pics from our midnight release at Hastings on my blog if you want to see what they thought and looked like.

Dear Mr. Lula: Thanks for keeping us up-to-date on Lula's whereabouts! And please let her know that her Bloggy Friend Veggie must be the only person in the entire Blogosphere who hasn't picked up THAT BOOK this weekend. Now, the question remains: should I?

Okay, I'm so going out tomorrow and getting these books for my vacay! We leave tomorrow after church for the KEYS, BABY!!!! You're husband is kick-butt! So is mine, but he would never blog for me. Wow, that's what true love looks like. I got a new shelf in my laundry room while I was gone on an overnight trip. I do love this man. Blog or no blog!

Dear The good doctor,

do you know that your wife is passing out the love like it's a drug? Yes, it's true. I had never read and was hesitant to start any of the Twilight series.......

that was NOT okay with her and when she found out she contacted her main supplier and had a shipment to my doorstep in less than 24 hours.

and let's just say, this is some good dope.

so when she comes up for air, tell her I said thanks, and I'll be picking up my next supply myself.

oh yeah, my husband and small children would like to thank her also, they have enjoyed eating every meal out this weekend.

Addictedly hers,
Trish

Thanks for leaving the comment- I am glad you enjoyed it so much. I'm a little more than a third of the way through myself so haven't done my own review, but if you want to see through a precocious 15 year old's eyes she's written her review on her blog www.miniloonyverse.blogspot.com/
and she would LOVE to have your and any other Twilight Junkie's opinions.
***WARNING*** Her review contains spoilers so if you haven't read Breaking Dawn all the way through or if you are intending to ever read it, then skip her review.

I haven't gotten THE BOOK yet, but I plan to get it first thing tomorrow.

Tonight I am recovering from driving 8 hours all day to get home from our trip.

Hope y'all enjoyed (are enjoying?) Austin!

When Lula comes back from her Twilight sabbatical, please leave her this message. Hi, my name is Melissa B., and I'm introducing myself to you courtesy of my Bloggy Friend, Veggie Mom. I'm caving in to the commercial pressure and hosting a giveaway/contest starting tomorrow. I just returned from Asbury Park NJ, home to Jersey roots rock, aka Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Van Zandt, etc. I've got a couple of cool prizes to give away to celebrate the Dog Days of Summer, so tune please tune in!
