This couldn't wait 'til Memorial Day.
I have been blessed to have heros in my life. Papaw Raley (WWII), Uncle Everett (Korea), and my dad (Vietnam). I've never taken lightly the sacrifices they made on behalf of their country. The link below takes you to a pretty powerful video that I just had to share. And you just have to watch...please.

p.s. A self-admitted sap, I didn't cry 'til one of the very final scenes, of a Veteran gentleman giving salute...because I should be honoring him in this manner.

thank you, leigh anne's family, for your service. and i promise not to pawn a flag for a guitar.
Wow. That was much more powerful than I expected. I have goosebumps everywhere. We take not only our freedom for granted but the who and how we obtained that freedom. I know I do until I am faced with images like that. Very moving.
Such a tear jerker! Thanks for remembering your relatives who have served in the different wars! They were brave and all of them saw battle.
