"I Can See Russia From My House!"

It's a rare occurrence for me, but sometimes I'd rather laugh than listen to music. Shocking, I know. I had this week's Mad Musical Monday post all ready to go. And then I saw this:

Keepin' it nonpartisan y'all! I know, I know...the presidential race is serious business and I am not making light of it. This just cracked me up big time, and was a welcome respite from all the negative media surrounding each of the candidates, particularly Governor Palin.

Enjoy!

Yup, that was funny.
I could see Russia when I lived there, too (Not really- I couldn't see it, but I was born there.)

I **heart** Sarah Palin......
and I **heart**heart** Tina Fey and Amy Poeller.

So, I "invite the media to grow a pair, and if you can't I'll lend you mine"

tooo funny!

I watched this three times! Hilarious. Tina totally got the Sarah Palin impression down! If they win, Tina could work for the Secret Service as a body double.

Holy crap, LULA....It's kinda creepy that we're on the same wavelength....I just watched this video two hours ago, and then I hop over to your blog to see you're title for this post was my absolute favorite (laugh outloud) line from the whole skit. Hysterical!

**From the moment I laid eyes on Ms. Palin, I knew Tina Fey would play her. Because they might just be the same person. My sources will neither confirm or deny...

This is very funny. I love Tina and Amy, they are genius. I love Youtube too, or I would of missed this. Hope you had a great weekend.

That really was funny!! I saw it on Saturday Night Live and was really cracking up!

Yes, I am going to read the other books in the Twilight series and see the movie! I ordered the 2nd book over the weekend. I got lucky that I didn't know anything about it all, so I haven't had to wait long for the other books or the movie!

THAT.WAS.BRILLIANT. I am so glad you posted it because I forgot to TIVO it. Tina Fey had Sarah Palin nailed down...everything about her was dead on. Sooo sooo good...I need to come back and watch it agian when my son isn't asking for breakfast!

I love this! I watched it on my phone and until "Sara" started posing I didn't realize it was Tina. I knew they resemble each other, but is almost twin-ish. And she sounded just like her. I'm still lovin' me some Palin!

Vicki said...

Oh, can you correct that spelling error? I get to typing so fast on this tiny keyboard and things get dropped. I love me some Sarah. I'm sure there's a Sara out there that I'd love just as much.

I wonder if Tina Fey will show up again to play her? The resemblance is uncanny. And I love the line about Sarah and her "Tina Fey glasses."

But...the rest of SNL was horrible. I think Michael Phelps stumbled over every line he was given. And it wasn't funny.

That is funny! Tina Fey does a GREAT Palin impersonation!

You are the first person I thought of when I watched SNL last Saturday. I usually fall asleep before the news is even over, but this little skit had me in stitches! I knew Tina Fey would be a perfect Sarah Palin!

Did you get any remnants of Ike this weekend? We had over 880,000 people without power, and we were one of those for about 5 hours. Hope you are all okay...

You know, for a few seconds I actually though it was Sara Palin. Isn't that sad?

This was the funniest skit of the night. I loved it. The rest of SNL? Umm...not so much.

This was so funny! I heard earlier this week that Tina Fey would be on to do Sarah Palin but I just don't stay up that late these days. I'm so old. Amy Poehler (sp) was great too!

Hey--I saw that today on my friend Melissa B.'s blog, too! Pretty funny stuff, I'd say!! She takes it one step farther, though--I think her post is entitled, "Vote for Tina!" http://scholastic-scribe.blogspot.com And BTW, don't miss *Recipe Week* over at my place!

I saw this this morning, and couldn't stop laughing. Just brought Tricia and Gina's dad down to see it. It is no longer available. Who didn't like it? Think I will go to you-tube and see if it is really gone.

That was hilarious! I didn't see this skit live, so was glad to catch the whole thing here. I thought it was funny hearing media coverage announcing late in the week that Tina Fey would probably play Governor Palin on SNL. Who didn't realize that the first moment we met her? Thanks for posting this. I might just have to pop back over to see it again!

We waited watched it on SNL and were laughing hysterically! Loved it. I loved the air guitar especially.

The real Sarah Palin would be such a great PTA president at our grade school.

ps: I'm loving my Kindle and my first book is Twilight
