July 15.

OHMYHEAD. Look what's arriving at my house in a few weeks:

For the record, y'all know (or you should realize by now, at least) I will never pass up a chance to spread some Jason love. Because he is the epitome of delicious goodness and that, my friends, is worth spreading.

And for all of you who are still scratching your heads, wondering, "Who is that guy and why does Lula have this thing for him? And why does she mention his name at least once a week?"

Simply put, Jason Statham is the 3 B's: my Boyfriend, Badass, and Beautiful. Watch...observe...enjoy...love...

Y'all don't act like you don't have a boyfriend. (Or girlfriend--whatever.) In fact, let's have a little fun...comment & share with us whose cheese you're digging. Rant and rave away.

Do you still have a thing for David Cassidy, puka shell necklace and all? The minute New Kids On the Block start wailing, "Please don't go giiiiiirrrrllll..." does that familiar tingling dance up your spine? Kirk Cameron, Zac Efron, Leif Garrett, George Clooney, Lenny Kravitz, Brad Pitt, Andrew McCarthy, The Jonas Brothers? Come on now...claim your heart throb and don't be afraid to praise his name.

Because I don't want any of you stealing mine.

wow, it's 7:15, this has been posted for over two hours, and there are no comments. how is this possible? i like vincent d'onofrio, but seriously, and i'm not trying to be the big goody-goody here: joey is all the boyfriend i can handle.

As popular as it is we've decided not to do the whole boyfriend/girlfriend thing. I don't know if decided is the right word, we've just never done it. It'd be kind of hard for either of us now, no tv and such.

I am completely in love with Patrick Dempsey. And I'm not some Grey's Anatomy groupie who just discovered him as McDreamy. I have been crushin' on him since his early days in "Can't Buy Me Love". We were all so young back then. I've loved him through the cheesy Lifetime movies phase and now I'm almost breathless knowing that he's on every week in a syndicated show. So, during the summer (or guild strikes), I know I can count on Lifetime to show me reruns. :-)

Kelly--yeah Vincent is a bad guy. You know I love 'em like that--no pretty boys for me. And yeah, Joey is a rockin' boyfriend for you. He'd kick Vincent's butt.

Vicki--You are a liar. But I love you. The end.

And let me just remind everyone of yesterday's post--I LOVE MY HUSBAND WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING AND THANK GOD FOR HIM EVERY SINGLE DAY. But Jason's still my boyfriend and that's fine and dandy with us. 'Cause Katherine Heigl has Josh Kelly AND Dr. Scott Litton, and I know she's fine and dandy with that, too.

Well, Angie can have McDreamy cause I'll take McSteamy any day. I have always said that he is my boyfriend...and that just riles up my kiddos. One time, we were in the car and Michael called me. Katie asked who it was and I said my boyfriend. She says "McSteamy called you?!" Ha!

oooooo! I love me some JS. Fell for him in The Italian Job and myheart has been true ever since.

Lula! said...

sanctuaryseeker--yes, Viggo is HAWT. Aragorn forever!

scargosun--you and I share Jason. and i totally don't mind, because your love for him is one of the reasons I dig you. A lot.

Beckie--I'd totally have sex with Nicholas Cage just so I could hear him whisper sweet nothings in my ear. I went tooooooooooo far, I know.

yah, ya went to far on that one lassie!
Okay, love Keifer, the bad boy, Sutherland. Not until 24, though! Jack Bauer is the epitomy of all that is good and beautiful! Meow!!!!!!

I just commented to my husband that for an old guy, Ed Harris is pretty handsome. And I will always have a thing for Mel Gibson. I don't care what stupid thing he says or does- he is still very pretty.

It's Christian Bale for me. Foreva and eva.

That man has more talent in his little pinky than most of the Hollywood pretty boys.

I was IN LOVE with Christian Bale back in the day when he was in Newsies - anybody every see that one? Lots of yummy male goodness for the teenage eye in that movie. Anyway, I kind of have a thing for the original CSI guys - George Eads (plays Nick Stokes) and Gary Dourdan (plays Warrick Brown). Unfortunately, Gary fell into the hands of the Hollywood druglords and I lost a lot of respect for him. George is just a hottie in a southern gentleman way but your know that "under the surface lies a little sweet rebellion". I like that. When I was younger, it was Andrew McCarthy all the way baby. Thanks for giving him a little lovin Lula. I fell in love with him in Mannequin and that's my favorite movie of all time. Hubby and I recessed to Nothin's Gonna Stop Us Now at our wedding! How you like them apples?

I might be weird but I totally have a thing for James McEvoy. He has the most delish blue eyes and the accent. I. Just. Melt. I'm so worried about him being in this movie with Anjelina Jolie, though, because we know she likes the forbidden fruit. That hussy better keep her hands off my honey.

"Nobody puts Baby in a corner."
Yeah, the best line of the best movie starring the best guy EVAH!

Patrick Swayze.

If he and I weren't serious about our own committed marriages then we would be together. But since I was 2 when he got married, I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

The other love of my life would be Patrick Dempsey. I'll take him as McDreamy, but my real love for him goes all the way back to Ronald Miller. I was so angry at him when he offered to buy that snooty girls replacement outfit.........he could have had me on his lawnmower instead.

funny thing is that both of those movies came out in 1987. i was 14. Must have been my breakout year!

Trish said...

ahhh, my two Patricks.....

Lula! said...

Mama Dawg and Caroline--Christian Bale was smokin' in Newsies and Batman. But he grossed me out in The Prestige...I dunno why, but he did. Ah, well.

Gina--Ed Harris--yep-yep. I dig his cheese. His aged cheese. All the better, I say.

I have never watched Grey's Anatomy (I hear your shocks of surprise now--remember y'all: Lost, Buffy, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica--SCI-FI NERDS UNITE!), but I am so riding the Ronald/Donald Miller train. I mean, lawn mower. "Can't Buy Me Love" is one of my faves. I'd spill Merlot on my suede fringed outfit anyday for him.

Mom 'o Bean--James was endearing in Narnia. But I so wanted to throw him up against a wall in "Atonement." In the library. Sexiest scene ever...
Angelina's got her hands busy with Brad and their 17 kids. Bless her heart.

Lula, I'm not lying! We don't have tv. :) No CILF either (Celebrity I'd Like....).

Lula! said...

Vicki--you did NOT say "CILF." That's awesome. Cilf. I give you credit, as I am now going to be using this. Even though it's racy. That's the rebel in me.

My hot husband of course.

Swirl Girl: I thought we'd die when we gave up tv. But it was taking over our lives, ever so subtly. We decided that it wasn't a permanent decision, we could always resubscribe in a couple of days. But we've been tv free for a couple of months now and I love it. We don't miss it. I still get fixes (Project Runway and The Office) through Netflix or YouTube.

Maybe I should start a support group...

I have two words for you. Wentworth Miller. That is all.

I'm not finished...Steven Strait in The Covenant, Stuart Townsend in The Queen of the Damned, Johnny Dep in PIrates, or Orlando in Pirates (specifically the 3rd one at the end), Keanu Reeves in A Walk in the Clouds...
